The Coach Inn offers you a traditional bed and breakfast. The homestead is a fully restored Victorian home. Our guests have their own entrance, the front door, which leads you to your private area. The downstairs bedroom is double with a door through to the bathroom. From the entrance hall you will also enter "The Parlour", a beautiful room with all the formality of the Victorian era with superb porcelain figures, artwork and an open fire. Enjoy a complimentry port and chocolate while you sit back to enjoy a book from the library or watch TV.
The Parlour has air conditioning for the summer and there is a piano should you be so gifted.
A continental breakfast is served in the formal Dining Room, all accessed from your hallway.
Tea or coffee is served anytime.
We offer you unrivalled hospitality, what one would expect from your Victorian setting.
Let's not forget your best friend. We are pet friendly and welcome your pet inside and they may also join you for breakfast.
Indoor kennels are available should your pet not be up to scratch with inside etiquette.
Upstairs we have a single bedroom should you have a third person in your party. This room is fitted with a hand basin. We can also put down a portable bed in the art studio or parlour should you need a fourth bed. (These guests will share the bathroom.)
The Coach Inn boasts "the Ned Kelly step" which you will step over as you enter. We also have many sculptures depicting the Kelly Family. These surround the water Iris Ponds.
We have a fine collection of historical Antique Horse Drawn Carriages.
Large wooden sculptures are found around the expansive garden.
The kookaburras will say Goodnight and combined with the Magpies, will herald the coming of morning.
We are also a commercial Iris Garden and have over 100 named varieties. These are sold all over Australia.
